Installing and compiling instructions

Samond Classes Library is available in compiled form and as a source code.

After you download library image file from http://sclmac.sf.net , you must mount this image and copy all folders into directory /Developer. Installing to a different location is permitted, but not recommended, because default path used with compiling project in XCode Tools. If you already have folder /Developer/Include, do not copy Include from image file. Copy Include/scl folder only into existing folder /Developer/Include.

Library image file contains the following directories:

• Documentation contains this documentation in a format Apple DocSet for direct access from XCode Tools.
• Include/scl contains header files that are required for use in Mac OS X and iOS applications.
• Frameworks contains compiled frameworks and static libraries for MacOS (subdirectory MacOS) and static libraries for iOS (subdirectory iOS).
• Sources contains the library sources of all supported platforms.

MacOS frameworks and static libraries available for the following OS versions:

• MacOS 10.4 Tiger (directory /Developer/Frameworks/MacOS/10.4)
• MacOS 10.6 Snow Leopard (directory /Developer/Frameworks/MacOS/10.6)
• MacOS 10.7 Lion and later (directory /Developer/Frameworks/MacOS)

For each version of the MacOS framework comes in Release and Debug configurations, each of which is placed in the appropriate subdirectory.

Static libraries for iOS available for the following versions:

• iOS 4.3 (directory /Developer/Frameworks/iOS/4.3)
• iOS 5.0 - 6.1 (directory /Developer/Frameworks/iOS/5.0)
• iOS 7.0 and later (directory /Developer/Frameworks/iOS/7.0)
• Header files for static libraries (directory /Developer/Include/scl)

For each mobile platform you have the following versions of the static library;

• Configuration Release compiled for ARM architechture (compiled for real devices, directory /Developer/Frameworks/iOS/X.X/Release-iphoneos)
• Configuration Release compiled for iPhone simulator (directory /Developer/Frameworks/iOS/X.X/Release-iphonesimulator)
• Configuration Debug compiled for ARM architecture (directory /Developer/Frameworks/iOS/X.X/Debug-iphoneos)
• Configuration Debug compiled for iPhone simulator (directory /Developer/Frameworks/iOS/X.X/Debug-iphonesimulator)

Anonymous read-only access to the project source code is available via Subversion at the following path to the repository: https://svn.code.sf.net/p/sclmac/code/trunk/.

After issuing the command "svn checkout" you need to open the project in the XCode Tools, select the necessary version of library and run "Build". After completion of the compilation necessary version will appear in the appropriate subdirectory of /Developer.
